Does Astound Broadband require a contract?
No. Astound sells its residential internet without an annual contract, so there is no early-termination fee if you leave. Introductory pricing still runs for a set period, and the rate rises when that period ends unless you have taken the price-for-life option.
Why do I see different Astound prices in different places?
Astound prices its plans by market, and the states it serves do not all get the same lineup. The only reliable figure is the one returned when you enter your own address on Astound's site — a rate advertised nationally may not apply where you live.
What is the price-for-life option?
On gigabit service Astound offers to hold your rate indefinitely for an extra $5 per month, instead of the usual twelve-month introductory period. As with the standard rates, availability depends on your market.
Is Wi-Fi equipment included?
The gigabit plans include a modem and an eero whole-home Wi-Fi system in the advertised price. The entry-level 150 Mbps plan comes with a standard modem rather than the eero system.
